Department of Humanities

The Department of Humanities at Mangwana Academy provides an engaging and reflective learning environment across Biblical Studies, Geography, and History.

Under the leadership of Mr. Kwaedza Munondidini, the department nurtures critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and global awareness, equipping students to connect past, present, and future in meaningful ways. Lessons are guided by the Cambridge International Curriculum, ensuring students gain both academic rigor and real-world understanding.

Through inquiry, research, and discussion, learners explore human culture, ethics, and society, developing the skills and perspectives essential for higher education, professional careers, and responsible global citizenship.

 

 Curriculum Access

All Humanities syllabuses, resources, and enrichment materials are accessible to students and parents/guardians via our secure Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), which includes:

  • Cambridge-aligned syllabuses and lesson materials
  • Recorded and live lecture sessions
  • Homework, assessments, and feedback tools
  • Parent/guardian access for monitoring student progress and engagement

The VLE ensures continuous learning, collaboration, and accountability for both students and parents.
